A message from Yvette Young:
We sincerely hope everyone enjoyed the snow on this past Tuesday, and most importantly, it was uneventful.
With being in the heart of winter, we will resume “Cash for Trash” in March. This will be a great time to get out and collect litter, inasmuch as, we will be in the early stages of spring foliage. So let’s pick up all we can while our trees are still bare.
However, for those of you that are true community and litter advocates, any/all litter collected will still be counted with our ongoing litter campaign with Love Your Community. We are now working towards a total award of $7500.00. Thus far, we’ve earned $6000.00.
The board will have our first quarter meeting for 2025 and will be discussing 2025 beautification projects in addition to our 2025 Fundraiser.
This year will mark our 5th year for our annual fundraiser. We want it to be the largest best fundraiser yet, emphasizing the number 5. For example 50 vendors, 50 sponsors/donors, 5 smart tv’s giveaway etc.
Also, in the past our sponsors, have been gold, silver, bronze and green. This year we will add a new category Platinum.
Lastly, those of you that donated for 2024, I will contact you individually to give your gifts of appreciation.
As a reminder, gifts of appreciation are as listed below:
- Gold – $400 > Duffel bag, t-shirt, and large litter sign
- Silver – $350 to $399, Apron, t-shirt, and large litter sign
- Bronze – $200 to $349, t-shirt, large litter sign
- Green – $25 to $199, t-shirt and small litter sign
