Residents, please take notice of the below post regarding Operation Clean Sweep. You may dispose of flat screen tv’s and tires (10) during this event. So many residents, place flat screens and tires on the curb, as where the city does not pick them up. Thereafter, they stay on the curbside, deteriorating into the ground of which the residue makes its way into our waterways, where we often consume seafood. Or worse, they toss these items into abandoned lots, etc. Please, make note of these dates/locations and properly dispose of your unwanted items. Your efforts will allow us to have a cleaner more beautiful community.
We are looking forward to hearing your comments and seeing increased participation in revitalizing our community to its fullest potential.
