Let’s Pitch in to Help Earn the 13 hours Needed by September 30
A message from Yvette Young, President, RevitalizeDIP:
As we approach the end of the third quarter litter contest, we are 13 hours short of earning an additional $1500.00.
Litter advocates, let’s pitch in to help earn the 13 hours needed by September 30.
By doing so, we will have two things to celebrate, the winner of our third quarter litter contest and qualifying to win an additional $1500.00 grant.
These litter grants have helped us substantially, all of which you see as you drive down south DIP. All of these projects were funded solely by the grants earned and subsidized by RevitalizeDIP.
Funds that were earned by the dedication of our litter advocates and sponsor/donations.
Thank you to the dedicated advocates that continue to pitch in, most of whom are senior citizens, we greatly appreciate you.
So many of you have litter kits that are not being utilized.
Your community needs you, imagine how many more beautification projects we can invest in, if you pitched in to help once a month.
We are at a pivotal point in our community, we have a new mayor, we are now a TIF district, the new airport is coming soon, we will have Brookley by The Bay and so much more.
The goal is to make DIP a beautiful, therapeutic corridor, so that when you drive down, you can enjoy the beautiful community it should be.
So, what will you do to RevitalizeDIP,? be a volunteer? or donate? or both?
WE ARE STRONGER TOGETHER
We are looking forward to hearing your comments and seeing increased participation in revitalizing our community to its fullest potential.
RevitalizeDIP encourages you to volunteer your time to help us reduce litter, crime and blight from our South Mobile community.
