Vote for Mobile’s Next Mayor during the Run-off Election 9/23/2025
It’s time to vote. While state and national politics matter, the decisions that hit closest to home are the local ones.
This is about where you:
- Lay your head at night
- Shop for groceries
- Raise your children
- Pay your taxes
We’ve seen too many districts get overlooked because of complacency. Don’t wait for your neighbor to act. Be present. Be mindful. Hold your local politicians accountable. They get paid whether you speak up or not—so make sure they earn it.

This is what Councilman C.J. Small said in his 9/19/25 District 3 Newsletter about the run-off election:
District 3, I can’t stress this enough; your voice matters.
The mayoral runoff is Tuesday, September 23.
Please make a plan to vote, bring a valid photo ID, and encourage your family, friends, and neighbors to do the same. Learn about the candidates, choose the one who best aligns with your values, and help keep Mobile moving forward.
Let’s lead by example, District 3. See you at the polls on September 23.

I’m still waiting to see what CJ Small does for the DIP area. we have nothing over here while the rest of the city has restaurants, big grocery stores that don’t have a 10% upcharge. we can’t even have a normal Walgreens. All we have is a piece of a Walgreens that closes at 6 pm and not open on Sunday like the rest of them in Mobile. We can’t even have a Neighborhood Walmart over here. been in this area for over 20 years and nothing has changed hardly.
