RevitalizeDIP received an email from a concerned DIP Resident

Yesterday, RevitalizeDIP posted the RevitalizeDIP Litter Cleanups Map page.
This morning, we received our first email response from a DIP community resident and we replied.
We respect the resident’s privacy, so the following correspondence does not include their names.
Here is a quote of their email correspondence:
Good morning,
Is anyone removing litter on Gill and Clubhouse Roads?
These are in desperate need of litter removal.
Thank you so much for all that you’re doing for our community.
Our reply:
Thank you for your words of praise about RevitalizeDIP’s efforts to revitalize our community!
Our group depends on volunteers to take the initiative to pick up litter.
The intersection at Clubhouse Road and Gill Road is one of our target locations.
We are happy to say this location has been repeatedly cleaned up by RevitalizeDIP volunteers.
We appreciate team leaders Rhesa Sumrell & Jennifer O’Rourke for picking up litter at this location.
RevitalizeDIP encourages you, your family and friendly neighbors to join our efforts to restore our community to its fullest potential.
When you accept this challenge, we will be happy to add your love for our community efforts to our website updates.
If you do not wish to join RevitalizeDIP’s efforts, we encourage you to call 311 and report the litter location to the city.
The City of Mobile’s 311 service is an excellent way to report litter as well as getting updates on your service request.
You can file a service report at https://www.cityofmobile.org/services/311/
If you decide to join RevitalizeDIP litter cleanup volunteers, let us know. We are always looking for more volunteers.
In order for us to earn funds from Love Your Community for picking up litter, we need the following information:
Location of your cleanup; Date of the cleanup; Team member names; How long you picked up litter; and Photos of the bags of litter you and your team collected.
You can either join our Facebook group and post your litter cleanup information, or email the information to us at RevitalizeDIP@gmail.com so we can post it.
RevitalizeDIP’s Facebook members only group is at https://www.facebook.com/groups/2025513674365210 .
We are looking forward to hearing from you soon!
