Thanking Danny and Carol Mims for their efforts to RevitalizeDIP!
A message from Yvette Young, President, RevitalizeDIP:
As a grassroots nonprofit, our success depends upon, volunteers, sponsors/donors and contacts/collaborations.
Little did I know a classmate from High School would step up and assist RevitalizeDIP, when called upon.
Initially, I asked Danny L Mims and wife Carol Mims of The Mims Firm, to sponsor our first fundraiser, which was in 2021 and they gladly accepted.
Since then they have been a proud sponsor of our annual fundraiser.
Earlier this year we were disheartened to learn our beautification project at Gulfdale had been destroyed, due to an automobile accident.
Although we were disappointed, we were grateful no significant injuries occurred.
We were also grateful to learn the driver was insured and we could pursue a claim for our damages.
So the first person/s that came to mind was Danny and Carol Mims.
The Mims Firm successfully facilitated our claim and RevitalizeDIP has been reimbursed for all damages sustained.
Let’s give a huge RevitalizeDIP thank you to Danny and Carol Mims for their efforts to RevitalizeDIP.
Each of us have something we can contribute to our community, whether, it be time, talent/skills, finances or contacts or all of these.
The Mims have contributed both their talents and finances. Thank you, we greatly appreciate it.
We are looking forward to hearing your comments and seeing increased participation in revitalizing our community to its fullest potential.
